The front wheel hubs, stub axles, brake discs and calipers have now been assembled and fitted to the wishbones. The bearing group inside each wheel hub contains metallic contact seals, with an extra dirt seal at the open side. The hubs will be fitted with a wheel-speed sensor.
Each wheel is driven by means of five pegs, and will be fixed by a central nut with safety spring. The aluminium wheels have been specially produced for this project.
